OMG, you're texting your way to back pain!

The use of our smartphones has become indispensable- Along side of using it for calls we have become reliant on them for texting, checking emails, googling, reading the news, playing… You are likely to read this right now! We are constantly glued to them and there is suspicion that our new ‘smartphone-posture’, a forwards bent head increases the strain on the neck: The muscles have to work harder as the weight of the head pulls harder on them than in an easy neutral upright position.

So make sure that you spend as little time as possible hunched over your phone- Take regular breaks and stretch your neck, roll your shoulders to avoid neck pain, headaches and eyestrains!
